Late Victorian and Edwardian buildings along the western edge of the Savannah, on Maraval Road. Wikipedia names Queen's Royal College, Whitehall, Mille Fleurs, Roomor and Stollmeyer's Castle, and the homes of the Anglican bishop and the Roman Catholic archbishop.

What to skip
Looking for Carnival
Carnival is the pre-Lenten celebration and the city's main yearly festival. Outside that season you will see its story in the museum, not the festival.

Before you go ashore
You do not have to book a tour: you are free to go ashore on your own. Royal Caribbean sets the all aboard time about 30 minutes before the ship sails, posts it near the gangway, and says the ship does not wait for guests touring on their own.
