Royal Beach Club Paradise Island: when your ship stops in Nassau
Royal Caribbean's beach club across the harbour from the Nassau pier, open since December 2025: the ferry over, two beaches and three pools on one pass, and what the pass is not.
Facts checked Nov 4, 2026, each with its source. No prices on this page.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is Royal Caribbean's beach club on Paradise Island, the resort island just off Nassau that is joined to it by two bridges and is best known for the Atlantis resort. The club covers 17 acres and took its first guests on 23 December 2025; it was built with the Government of The Bahamas in a partnership planned so that Bahamians could own up to 49 percent of it. Your ship ties up in Nassau as usual. The club is a day pass sold as a shore excursion, and free ferries carry pass holders from the pier to the club and back all day.

Top 3 things to do
1. The ferry over from the pier
Royal Caribbean runs its own ferries, five colourful water ferries, from the Nassau cruise pier to the club and back without a break all day. They land at two piers at the club, Paradise Pier and Chill & Party Pier, and signs point you to them once you step off the ship. The ferries have ramps, clear pathways and seats for wheelchair users, who can land at either pier.
Tip: Take your SeaPass card and a photo ID off the ship: you need both to get in.

2. Chill Beach, Party Cove and the family beach, with three pools
The club is laid out as three neighbourhoods: Chill Beach, Party Cove and a family beach, which the club's own page calls Paradise Beach. There are two beaches and three temperature controlled pools: The Shallow End, a zero entry pool for families, The Deep End for grown-ups, and the Party Cove Pool. The Floating Flamingo in Party Cove is a two storey swim-up bar that Royal Caribbean calls the world's largest, one of ten bars. Three Paradise Grill spots serve conch fritters, shrimp on a stick and a crispy fish sandwich.
Tip: The pass covers both beaches, all three pools, chairs, umbrellas, towels, lockers, showers, Wi-Fi and the food; which drinks it covers depends on the pass you bought. Every pool has a lift.

3. Games, music and the cabanas
Hook toss, cornhole, ring toss, large dominoes and floating tic-tac-toe are laid out for anyone to play, with a DJ and live music, and local artisans sell from huts on the island. Cabanas, day beds and the VIP Party Decks, two decks on the upper floor of The Floating Flamingo, are booked ahead through the Royal app, My Royal Cruise or the Shore Excursions desk on board.
Tip: The club takes a set number of guests a day, and the number changes with the season, so Royal Caribbean says to book the pass before you sail.

What to skip
Know this: the club is a pass, not the port
Royal Caribbean describes the club as an optional shore excursion in Nassau that needs a purchased day pass, unlike Perfect Day at CocoCay, where entry is free. Children 3 and under enter free, every area is open to every age, and alcohol is for guests 21 and older. The pass is refunded in full up to 48 hours before the day in Nassau, and in full if weather cancels the call. Guests of Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises and Bahamian residents may visit. Snorkel gear is not available to rent, and kosher food is not offered.

Before you go ashore
You do not have to book a tour: you are free to go ashore on your own. Royal Caribbean sets the all aboard time about 30 minutes before the ship sails, posts it near the gangway, and says the ship does not wait for guests touring on their own.
