Why Do Some Royal Caribbean Cruises Show No Price?
A few cruises on the calendar have no price. They are not random: half leave within about seven weeks, and almost all had a price not long ago. Here is what our nightly records show.
40 of 1,908 Royal Caribbean cruises, 2.1%, had no interior fare on 22 October. They are not random: half of them leave within 50 days, while the middle cruise on the calendar leaves in 195. And 38 of the 40 had a fare on some earlier night.
Every number comes from our own price data, as captured on 22 October 2026, with the 41 nightly captures since 11 September 2026 behind it. We look at cruises of 3 nights or more that leave between 1 November 2026 and 31 October 2027. The box at the bottom says exactly how. We show only what Royal Caribbean lists, so we cannot tell you why a fare is missing. We can tell you when and where it happens.
The closer the cruise, the more likely it has no price
| Cruise leaves | Cruises | With no interior fare | Share with no fare |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leaves within 30 days | 95 | 10 | 10.5% |
| 30 to 59 days | 164 | 14 | 8.5% |
| 60 to 119 days | 305 | 6 | 2.0% |
| 120 to 239 days | 617 | 9 | 1.5% |
| 240 days or more | 727 | 1 | 0.1% |
Royal Caribbean cruises of 3 nights or more leaving 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027, 22 October 2026 capture.
Among cruises leaving within 30 days, 11% had no fare. For cruises 240 days or more away, it was 0.1%.
How far away the cruises are: those with no fare, and those with one
Each bar runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile of the number of days from 22 October to the day the cruise leaves, so it shows where the middle half sits.
Most of them had a price not long ago
38 of the 40 cruises with no fare had an interior fare on some earlier night in our records. The other 2 have had none since we began. For the 38, the stretch with no fare is mostly short: 15 have been missing for one night, 15 for two or three nights, and 8 for four nights or more.
A missing fare does not always stay missing. 48 cruises that have a fare on 22 October had no fare on at least one earlier night. And of the 40 cruises with no fare on 22 October, 15 had one the night before, so the list changes from night to night.
Other cabins can still have a price
34 of the 40 still show a fare for an ocean view, balcony or suite. So the missing fare is the interior, the cheapest cabin type, and the cruise is on sale in other cabins. The likely cause is that Royal Caribbean has no interior cabins left to sell at the listed fare, but our data cannot confirm it.
Where they are
The missing fares are in a few places. By ship: Navigator of the Seas (10), Symphony of the Seas (7), Radiance of the Seas (5). By home port: Singapore (10), Galveston (8), Tampa (6). By month: November 2026 (16) and December 2026 (11) together account for 27 of the 40.
What to do with this
A cruise with no price is not a cruise to forget. Check it again tomorrow, because 48 of the 1,853 cruises that have a fare today had a gap on an earlier night. Look at the other cabin types on the cruise page. On this site, a leg with no fare is shown as unpriced and ranked below priced legs, never given an estimated price. If you are building a leg-to-leg trip, our cost guide shows how a trip is priced.
What this does not tell you
- We do not see how many cabins are left. A missing interior fare is what Royal Caribbean lists, and the reason is our guess.
- We have a capture each night since 11 September, so we cannot say what happened before.
- A cruise that left the calendar entirely is not in the count.
- 6 of the 40 cruises were not in the 22 October fare capture at all. The rest were there with no interior fare.
- This is one day of fares, 22 October 2026. Fares move daily, and nothing here is a quote.
