Royal Caribbean has 29 ocean crossings on sale: 20 across the Atlantic and 9 across the Pacific, from Nov 2026 to Apr 2028. A night on a crossing costs a middle $149 for 2 guests in an inside cabin. A night on a typical 7-night Caribbean cruise costs $272. 20 of the 29 sail in 2027.
Every number comes from our own sailing data, as captured on Oct 31, 2026. A crossing here is a cruise Royal Caribbean puts in its Transatlantic or Transpacific region. Prices are the lowest inside cabin price with taxes and port fees, for 2 guests, on that day. Fares change every day, so treat them as a guide and check the price before you book. The box at the bottom says exactly how we counted.

Lowest inside cabin price per person with taxes and port fees, counted twice for 2 guests, as listed on Oct 31, 2026. A night is that price divided by the nights. Sea days are days with no port in Royal Caribbeanâs itinerary. One crossing had no inside price that day: it is shown without one, never estimated.
Why a crossing night is cheap
A crossing has many sea days, and sea days are cheap to sell. The 20 Atlantic crossings have 7 to 11 sea days each; the 9 Pacific crossings have 10 to 18. The longest run without land is 12 days in a row, on Navigator of the Seas from Tokyo (Yokohama) to Los Angeles, leaving Oct 27, 2027.
The cheapest night is on Mariner of the Seas from Barcelona to New Orleans, leaving Oct 21, 2027: $1,334 for 2 guests for 14 nights, $95 a night for 2 guests. The dearest is Odyssey of the Seas from Cape Liberty (New York) to Rome (Civitavecchia), leaving Apr 25, 2027: $5,684 for 2 guests, $406 a night. Spring goes east, autumn comes back
The Atlantic crossings come in two waves. In April, ships leave Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Port Canaveral, New Orleans, Galveston, San Juan and Cape Liberty for Barcelona, Rome and Southampton. In October and November, ships sail from Europe back to Florida, New Orleans, Cape Liberty and San Juan. In the Pacific, ships leave Sydney and Brisbane for Hawaii and Seattle in April, and sail from Seattle and Hawaii to Australia in October and November. Two more link Asia: Seattle to Tokyo (Yokohama), and Tokyo (Yokohama) to Los Angeles.
The reason behind the calendar, and why these sailings are hard to book leg to leg, is in Repositioning Cruises and Back-to-Backs. For the Europe season itself, see The Cheapest Europe Cruises of 2027.
A crossing as the first leg of a back-to-back
Every one of the 29 crossings ends where the shipâs next cruise begins: each has another cruise on the same ship leaving the port it ends at, on the day it arrives. So a crossing can be the first leg of a back-to-back. For example, Mariner of the Seas arrives in New Orleans from Barcelona on Nov 4, 2027 and leaves again that day on a 9-night Western Caribbean cruise.
A trip like that ends far from where it began, so plan the flight home from the last port, not the first. legtolegcruises.com finds back-to-backs that end somewhere else too, and says where each trip ends. Start from the crossingâs home port, for example Barcelona or Fort Lauderdale.
Before you book a crossing
- It is one way. You fly home from another continent, so price the flight before you compare a crossing with a round trip.
- Expect long runs of sea days: 4 to 12 in a row on these 29 crossings.
- Taxes and port fees on these crossings are a middle $211 per person. They are in the prices above.
- A trip that ends in another country has its own document rules: our guide Passport or Birth Certificate for a Cruise? has them.
