Are Cruises on a Club Royale List Cheaper or Dearer Than the Ones Left Off?

On the face of it, cruises on a Club Royale list cost a little more a night than the rest. Compare the same ship, port and length, and there is no clear gap.

Cruises on an October 2026 Club Royale list cost a middle $143 a night for the lowest interior cabin. Cruises left off every list cost $135. That looks like a gap of 6%. But the two sets are different mixes of ships and places, and when we compare the same ship, home port and length, the middle group costs only 4% more on a list, and it runs both ways: 8 of 15 groups cost more on a list and 7 cost less.

Every number comes from Royal Caribbean's public monthly Club Royale offer lists for October 2026 as we read them, and the lowest interior fare per person, taxes and port fees included, that we captured on 22 October 2026. The box at the bottom says exactly how. "On a list" means some level of some of lists A, C and D names the cruise, in some cabin. It does not mean your code does.

The plain comparison

Cruises of 3 nights or moreCruises with an interior fareMiddle fare a night (lowest interior, taxes and port fees included)
On at least one list1,570$143
On no list159$135

Royal Caribbean cruises of 3 nights or more leaving 22 October 2026 to 1 October 2027 with an interior fare on 22 October 2026, against the October 2026 public lists A, C and D. Hero of the Seas is left out.

159 cruises is a small set next to 1,570, and it is a different set. By region, Europe and Alaska cruises left off the lists are dearer, and Asia and Caribbean cruises left off are cheaper. So the plain comparison mixes places, not just lists.

The four regions with at least 15 cruises on a list and 15 on no list. Lowest interior fare, taxes and port fees included, divided by the nights, on 22 October 2026.

The same ship, port and length

To take the mix out, we compared cruises of the same ship, from the same home port, with the same number of nights, that are on a list with those that are not. Only 15 groups had at least two of each (270 cruises on a list and 109 on none). In each group we divided the middle fare a night for the cruises on a list by the middle for those not. The middle of the 15 results is 4% more a night on a list. 8 groups were dearer on a list, 7 were cheaper, and the rest level.

That is no clear gap. 15 groups are too few to say more, and we would not read a small difference either way as a rule. A cruise being on a list does not tell you its fare is high or low.

What to do with this

Price the sailing, not the list. A list tells you where your offer can be used, not what the cruise costs. Our price checker tells you whether a fare is a good one for that cruise, and what a Club Royale offer is worth shows the dollars behind it. For what drives the fare itself see price per night by ship.

How the legs of a trip join up is in the back-to-back guide. Each leg has its own fare and its own place on the lists.

What this does not tell you

  • It is the lowest interior cabin. A balcony or suite can follow a different order, and the lists name suites at their higher levels.
  • It is one day of fares and one month of lists. 15 groups is a small base, and we do not know if the picture holds in other months.
  • It is fare only. Flights, hotels and the night before the cruise are not in it.
  • A cruise on a list may be on a list for a cabin that is not the interior.
  • We do not know what any traveller was shown or paid.
  • Nothing here is a quote or a promise that an offer can be used.

Sailings with no fare

69 cruises of the 1,798 in the window had no interior fare on 22 October, or lasted under 3 nights. They are left out of every figure here and never estimated. We also left out 10 cruises on Hero of the Seas, which has not entered service yet, and 182 cruise-and-land-tour packages, because a tour fare covers days on land.

How we measured this

Data dates: lists read 17 October 2026, fares captured 22 October 2026. Source: Royal Caribbean's public monthly Club Royale offer lists for October 2026 (lists A, C and D, posted 23 September 2026), one public file per code, read by our monthly job and held in the legtolegcruises.com offer-code pages; and the legtolegcruises.com price history, the nightly capture of Royal Caribbean fares. A code such as 2610A04 reads: 2026, October, list A, level 04. We count sailings that leave on or after 22 October 2026 (1,646 different sailings across the three lists; 5 of them we could not match to a sailing we track by ship and date). We do not know which list or level any traveller holds: Royal Caribbean does not say who gets which list, and your offer card names your code. The fare a night is the lowest interior fare per person on 22 October 2026, taxes and port fees included, divided by the nights, for 1,729 cruises of 3 nights or more. The like-for-like comparison uses groups with the same ship, the same home port and the same number of nights, that have at least two cruises on a list and at least two on none (15 groups); each group gives one ratio of the two middles, and the middle of the ratios is shown. The middle is the median. Fares and lists change. Nothing here is a quote, an offer or a guarantee, and no level, list or code is promised to anyone. legtolegcruises.com is an independent tool and independent editorial, not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Royal Caribbean International or Club Royale.
