What this video covers

This video goes through what common credit cards do for a Royal Caribbean cruise. The headline is the American Express Platinum cruise program: on a qualifying booking, the card can bring an onboard credit of 100 to 300 dollars per stateroom, plus one extra. The rules matter. It is for cruises of five nights or longer, the booking has to be made the right way, and the whole cost has to go on the card. The credit arrives at the end of the cruise, and an unused part is lost.

It then covers the Amex Gold card and the Delta card, the Chase cards, the Costco and Citi cards, and the Royal Caribbean Royal ONE card, saying what each one does and does not do. The last chapter asks whether card perks repeat on back to back cruises. The video says to check each issuer's own terms and to compare prices before you book, and the site never promises approval for any card. Some links on the video page are referral links, so we may earn a bonus if you apply and are approved. Only the bank decides.
