Lesson 5 of 5
Book it and check the bill
Redeeming an offer is not a normal checkout. Know the flow, then check the total.

The flow
- Find the offer. Sign in to Royal Caribbean, open your Club Royale offers and choose Redeem on the card.
- Choose a new booking. For a back-to-back you start a new booking for each leg.
- Rank up to three sailings. Royal Caribbean shows the offer's sailings in a table. You pick up to three in order, and a casino representative books your first available one. So a comped booking is not always confirmed on the spot, and that is normal.
- Read the bill. You see the first guest's fare after the offer, any second guest fare, and taxes and port fees for everyone. Gratuities are billed aboard.
Ranking matters on a back-to-back. Give backups that still leave leg two on the day leg one ends.
Before you pay
- Is the offer attached, and does the price show it? If the offer did not apply, you are looking at the normal rate.
- Is each leg on the right ship and the right day?
- Is it the same cabin on both legs? Ask for it.
- Does each leg sail before its offer's sail-by date?
Keep playing, on every leg
Royal Caribbean can hold back future offers if your play drops, or if you redeem an offer and do not play. Your casino points do not carry over from one leg to the next, so use them on the last night of each leg.
If you miss the pier check-in, or cancel an offer booking two days or less before it sails, the terms put a $200 deposit on each stateroom offer you book for the next 12 months. It comes back as onboard credit when you sail. Dropping leg two that late counts too. Read this before you book.
The shortcut
The slow part is finding the offer and scrolling its list for each leg. legtolegcruises.com knows which offer belongs on which leg, and opens Royal Caribbean's own redemption page for that offer, already narrowed to the ship, the port and the month. You land on your sailing and pick the date. It is the same official booking with far less scrolling.
The whole flow is in booking a casino offer, step by step. Then use the one-page checklist.
Open the checklist. If you have not yet, Course 1 covers back-to-back cruising from the start.
In short: Redeem once for each leg, rank up to three sailings, make sure the offer is on the bill, and keep playing on every leg.
