Cruise Packing List 2026: 10 Things to Bring

What this video covers

This packing video starts with the cabin, because everything follows from it: about two outlets you can reach, steel walls and ceiling, almost no counter beside the sink, and a closet built for about one carry-on each. Then it covers what gets taken at security: power strips, extension cords and plugs with several sockets; clothing irons and steamers; beer, spirits and boxed wine; and marijuana and CBD in any form, even where they are legal at home. And there is no need to pack a hair dryer, because there is already one in the room.

Wine and champagne have an allowance: one sealed 750 ml bottle per guest of drinking age for each sailing, so a back-to-back with two legs means two bottles. The ten things to bring are a certified USB charging block, magnetic hooks for the steel walls, an organizer that hangs on the bathroom door, a lanyard for your SeaPass card, packing cubes, one outfit for the dining room, a luggage scale, a waterproof phone pouch, water shoes and mineral sunscreen that is kind to reefs. Leave towels, a full formal outfit, extra dress shoes and a printed itinerary at home: the ship gives you towels, and the daily program comes to your room and the app.

Correction. A correction from the video's own description (3 October 2026): Royal Caribbean ships have no self service laundry; they offer a paid laundry service. On a back-to-back, bring every bottle at the start: the ship stores the extras and delivers one on the first day of each new sailing. Carry the paperwork for each sailing for security.

Prices and counts in the video are from the day it was made, Sep 17, 2026. The finder always shows today's.
