A casino offer says complimentary, but a free cruise for two is really free cruise fare. The week still costs about six hundred dollars, and one line in the small print can leave the guest beside you paying the going rate. This video reads the bill one line at a time, after the good news first. Line 1 is taxes and fees. Line 2 is gratuities. Line 3 is guest two, the second person in the cabin.

Then it looks at what the offer leaves out, shows a ship notice bulletin, and plays one True or False with real numbers, Alaska against the Caribbean. It adds up two free cruises back to back, reads the last line, and ends on the question: free cruise, or free cruise fare? Six rubber ducks are hiding in the small print. The figures are the site's own, counted on a copy of 26 October 2026: taxes and fees on 1,236 seven night cruises, the middle one taken, and inside fares on 1,226 of them. The offer terms are the cruise line's own, and the gratuities come from its 2026 guest booklet. Every total is an example for two guests in an inside cabin, and spending on board, flights and upgrades are not counted.
