What this video covers
Which month should you leave in if you want two weeks at sea for the least money? This video prices 2,754 back-to-backs, every Royal Caribbean run where one cruise ends the day the next one begins, at the cheapest inside cabin with taxes and port fees added, divided by the number of nights. The prices are as of 22 September 2026.
The cheapest month is January: 116 dollars a night from Florida, and 109 dollars a night across every port. February comes next at 125 dollars, still 41 percent below July. July is the most expensive month at 211 dollars a night, about 80 percent more than January. On a fourteen night back-to-back for two people, that difference is about 2,700 dollars. Christmas is not the worst: Christmas week runs about 185 dollars a night, below July, and the first half of December is truly cheap. September and October are cheaper partly because of hurricane season. January is cheap for a duller reason: people have just spent their money on Christmas, and children are back at school. The Caribbean weather in January is much like March, and March costs 18 percent more. It is a snapshot, not a law, so check your own port and dates on the site.
